In this 5-week homeschool art series, we will explore the Principles of Art through fun, hands-on holiday projects! Each class focuses on a different principle—like color, texture, balance, and space—while students experiment with watercolor, acrylic, pastels, and mixed media.

We’ll create a seasonal art collection that celebrates fall and winter, from colorful autumn leaves to snowy Christmas trees and mixed-media ornaments. This class builds confidence and creativity while helping students understand how to use the principles of art to make their work come alive.

Nov 17 – Gratitude in Texture: Leaf Collage
Medium: Oil Pastels, Crayons & Paper Collage Focus: Texture, shape, unity

Dec 8 – Acrylic Christmas Tree on Canvas

Dec 15 – Mixed-Media Holiday Ornament / Snowflake
